I liked it, so I put a ring on it!

Precies op de dag dat we even niet online zijn, valt er iets voor in het stille McFly land. Een andere lid van McFly is 'off the market', onze favoriete drummer deed gisteren zijn vriendin Izzy Johnston een aanzoek. Zij zijn samen op vakantie in St. Lucia, een mooi eiland in het oosten van de Caribische zee.

Harry kondigde zijn nieuws aan via Twitter:

Het Rendezvous Hotel is een 'Boutique Hotel for couples only' - en het ziet er echt geweldig uit. Het Rendezvous Hotel reageerde op Harry's tweet met: 'All the best to you from the entire Rendezvous team! Remember to steal time, relax, celebrate and share.' Daar zijn wij het helemaal mee eens, we hopen dat zij een geweldige vakantie hebben.

Izzy tweette:

We denken dat iedereen wel verwachtte dat Harry het tweede McFly lid zou zijn die de belangrijke vraag zou stellen. En om heel eerlijk te zijn, zijn we best wel jaloers op hun geluk.

Harry Judd and Izzy Johnston are officially engaged!

Following Tom Fletcher and Giovanna Falcone's wedding last weekend, the happy couple were clearly inspired and have decided to tie the knot.

Harry broke the news via Twitter, telling his followers: "I liked it, so I put a ring on it. #engaged"

He then added: "Couldn't be happier! My beautiful @izzyeyesalight and I are engaged! Thank you to @rendezvoushotel for making it so special! xxx"

Izzy couldn't help sharing the excitement, revealing that Harry Judd popped the question by a candlelit dinner on the beach.

She tweeted: "So happy! My gorgeous @mcflyharry and I got engaged on the beach by candlelit dinner. I'm the luckiest girl to be marrying my best friend xx"

Harry later revealed a picture of an ecstatic-looking Izzy showing off her rock *jealousface.*

Meanwhile, Tom took time out of his honeymoon to say congrats to the pair, tweeting: "AWESOME NEWS!!!! Congrats to @mcflyharry and his FIANCÉ @izzyeyesalight on getting engaged. Xxx"

The Strictly champ has popped the question to his girlfriend Izzy Johnston, of classical group Escala.

Love is certainly in the air for the McFly lads as Harry Judd has just popped the question to long-term girlfriend Izzy Johnston, of classical group Escala.

He announced the news on Twitter, writing: “Couldn't be happier! My beautiful @izzyeyesalight and I are engaged! Thank you to @rendezvoushotel for making it so special! Xxx.”

Fans and famous faces have rushed to congratulate the star, with Strictly partner Aliona Vilani amongst those to express their joy at the news.

Clearly delighted, Harry added: “I liked it, so I put a ring on it. #engaged.”

After winning Strictly Come Dancing 2011, Harry spoke to the Sunday Mirror about how he would propose to stunning Izzy, saying: "I want to keep it as romantic and spontaneous as possible for her.

"We moved in together right at the beginning of Strictly, so you can imagine what that was like! But we are very settled together and we talk about the future a lot.

"I absolutely know 100 percent that in her I have found 'The One', and yes I do want marriage, kids, the whole deal with Izzy.”

Harry’s move follows fellow McFly star Tom Fletcher’s marriage to girlfriend Giovanna Falcone, which took place at the weekend.

Harry and bandmates Dougie Poynter and Danny Jones were Tom’s co-best men as he tied-the-knot with his childhood sweetheart.
