I’m burning up but she’s getting colder

Net zoals deze week, zal McFly de aankomende week druk zijn met optreden bij verschillende tv shows. Je kunt de agenda van McFly in de gaten houden om te weten wat de ze aankomende weken allemaal zullen verschijnen: Super City Diary.

Later vandaag zullen Tom en Dougie een webchat doen. "We’ll be talking about Love Is Easy and other general nonsense I imagine", zei Tom. Je kunt ze vragen stellen via Twitter, gebruik daarbij #LoveIsEasy and #McFly. Volgens Dougie's Twitter zal de chat rond 3.30 PM - UK tijd plaatsvinden (dat is hier dus een uur later). Tom zal meer informatie posten, dus kijk op zijn Twitter account voor meer informatie en de link naar de stream voor de webchat.

AFTER WEBCHAT EDIT:
- Als album nummer 6 in de winkels ligt, zal McFly veel gaan touren in verschillende landen! We hopen dat ze ook weer richting Nederland komen
- Binnenkort zal je op iTunes twee nieuwe versies van Love Is Easy kunnen kopen. Er zal een Tom ukelele versie zijn en een Dougie versie. Dougie's versie is hilarisch en mooi tegelijkertijd. Tom zei over deze versie: "It's better than the original". Hij denkt dat Danny misschien ook nog een Danny versie zal doen van LIE.
- Dougie en Tom werken vandaag aan een opvolger van The Dinosaur That Pooped Christmas
- McFly zal 'something electrical' uitbrengen in December, voor Kerstmis.
- In Januari zal McFly weer op een schrijf trip gaan naar 'somewhere in the middle of nowhere' om nieuwe nummers te schrijven voor het nieuwe album.

To celebrate yesterday’s (Wednesday, November 14) 60th anniversary of the Official Singles Chart, McFly were presented with seven Official Number 1 Awards live on BBC One’s The One Show to recognise each of their chart topping singles.

Since their debut single, 5 Colours In Her Hair, reached the top of the Official Singles Chart in April 2004, Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd have enjoyed 19 Top 40 singles (including seven Number 1s) and have sold over 2.5 million singles in the UK. And, with new single Love Is Easy riding high in the midweek chart, they look set to score their 20th Top 40 hit this Sunday.

McFly were presented with the special brushed aluminium trophies for 5 Colours In Her Hair (2004), Obviously (2004), All About You/You’ve Got A Friend (2005), I’ll Be OK (2005), Don’t Stop Me Now/Please, Please (2006), Star Girl (2006) Baby’s Coming Back/Transylvania (2007) by hosts Alex Jones and Jake Humphrey. McFLY to soar in the United States

AFTER 10 years in the business McFly are on the verge of landing their first US record deal. The boys, whose upcoming Memory Lane album celebrates a decade of hits, recently played their first live American shows in front of A&R men totally unaware of their history.

Co-singer Tom Fletcher, 27, told me: “They were the first American live shows we’d done in nine years, and all four sold out straight away. But we don’t have a record deal there. We wanted to get people down to watch us so they can see how McFly are in their mid-20s.

“We got a lot of interest from labels. They are waiting to hear the new stuff. It’s weird because we don’t know how we might fit in over there now. Are we more Maroon 5 or One Direction these days?" Over the course of their career, McFly have seen many rival pop acts come and go. READ MORE

SHUT UP, THIS IS SERIOUS.
We met up with the (WELL FIT) McFly boys this week - and had a very serious discussion about their musical inspirations, the meaning of life, and the current economic situation in Greece.

NAHHHHH not really - what do you take us for? Actually, we made Dougie wear a kinky pink blindfold and guess which fellow bandmate was kissing him. OBVIOUSLY.

Yes, we realise we have a slight obession with pink blindfolds right now, but bear with us on this one - because there is some genuinely legit reasoning behind this game. *AHEM* McFly's brillilant new single is called LOVE IS EASY, right? Well, people also say that LOVE IS BLIND....

Ok yeah, we just wanted to see McFly kiss each other. Watch the video below to see a very reluctant Dougie get smoochy with Tom, Harry and Danny. It made us laugh so much we did a little bit of wee.



We can't decide which is our favourite part - Dougie referring to Danny as 'it' or Harry knocking the camera over because he was 'all in a daze'. PAHA.
