Nights are long and restless

De twee Amerikaanse McFly shows zijn gisteren super snel uitverkocht, we kunnen niet echt zeggen dat we hierom verbaast zijn.... Hoewel, er is ons gezegd dat er een groot aantal kaarten gekocht is door zwarthandelaren. Dit zijn mensen die de tickets opkopen en doorverkopen voor een bizar hoge prijs. Dit gebeurd helaas niet alleen in Amerika, maar overal ter wereld en er is niet veel om dit te stoppen. Soms kan een concertzaal of theater ervoor kiezen om de kaarten ongeldig te maken en nieuwe kaarten in de officiele omloop te brengen (dus houdt dit even goed in de gaten).

Een voorbeeld van een zwarthandelaar is een website genaamd 'Stub Hub'. Zij verkopen McFly tickets voor 800 dollar per stuk. Koop asjeblieft GEEN tickets van andere sites dan de officiele verkooppunten. Er zijn erg veel oplichters op het internet die geld proberen te halen uit neppe kaarten. Koop alleen via de officiele sites als ticketmaster/ticketservice en livenation. Je kunt de links naar de kaartverkoop vinden op de websites van de concert en theaterzalen.

We hebben wel goed nieuws voor iedereen die geen kaartjes heeft kunnen bemachtigen. Op veler verzoek heeft zowel het Roxy Theatre als Gramercy Theatre twee shows extra aangekondigd. Zorg ervoor dat je de onderstaande links ergens opslaat of toevoegd als bladwijzer:

- 7 September - Los Angeles, CA - The Roxy Theatre om 7:30pm (koop je kaartjes hier)
- 14 September - New York, NY - The Gramercy Theatre om 7:00pm (koop je kaartjes hier)

Kaartjes zullen aanstaande vrijdag 27 juli in de verkoop gaan om 10:30am PST en 10:00am EST. Succes iedereen!

McFly sold out of tickets for their New York gig – in just two minutes.

“Just heard that the NY show sold out in TWO MINUTES,” Tom Fletcher tweeted. “Awesome. We’ll be announcing a second NY show later!!!!!!”

The news comes after Tom – along with bandmates Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd – announced that they would be playing two intimate shows in the US – Los Angeles’ Roxy Theatre on September 10th and New York City’s Gramercy Theatre on September 13th.

“We have some fans in America that have been fans for like eight or nine years — right from the beginning — so much so that they fly over to see us in the U.K.,” Tom previously told Billboard.com. “It’s amazing that they are so dedicated. So I think we owe it to them to come over.”

He may be the heartthrob of McFly, but Danny Jones is by no means living the rock and roll lifestyle.

The young guitarist was playing the attentive boyfriend as he said goodbye to his girlfriend Georgia Horsley at a London railway station, yesterday.

The 26-year-old gave his underwear model partner a lingering kiss as they shared an intimate and sweet moment before she departed.



Danny was dressed casually in a pair of cut off shorts and wore a white T-shirt with a blue hooded jacket.

The singer songwriter also sported a pair of sandals due to having recently had an operation on his big toe and being unable to wear shoes or trainers.
