We hebben zojuist een erg schattig artikel gevonden over Floynter. Er is maar een bron, maar Tom heeft via Twitter bevestigd dat dit klopt, hij zei hierover: "This isn't until later in the year (for obvious reasons!) but here is one of the things Dougie & I have been working on". Kan je je dit voorstellen? Zo schattig!

Random House Children's Books has acquired two picturebooks by McFly band members Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter.

Publisher for children's colour and licensing Fiona Macmillan bought world rights through Stephanie Thwaites at Curtis Brown. The books will be illustrated by Garry Parsons.

The first title is called The Dinosaur that Pooped Christmas and will be published in October this year. It tells the story of what happens when a baby dinosaur's appetite runs away with itself, and what happens when he has to return Christmas back where it belongs.

Macmillan said: "We are thrilled to have acquired this funny and original text from two very talented voices for today: Tom and Dougie, and for what could well be the first in series of books for the little dinosaur!

"Their shared love of weaving wonderful stories and a passion for children's books shone through when we met. This is a story with for the whole family and one that will really make small boys howl with glee!"

Tom Fletcher might be going to the chapel but he'll be probably be covered in dairy products and tied to a lamp-post first.

Not content with sending Tom Fletcher off to his new life as a married man with any old stag do, the McFly lads have got something a bit more creative planned for his last night as a single man.

In an interview with The Mirror Danny, Harry and Dougie let slip a few details about what they've got up their sleeves, saying: "It might involve midgets and lamp-posts."

"But we can confirm there will be a bathtub, a bowling ball and eight gallons of sour cream. We just want to have a good time."

A bowling ball? Do we even want to know what that's all about?

Tom proposed to girlfriend Giovanna Falcone last year and with the big day set for May, he's already starting to feel a bit jittery about the impending nuptials.

"The planning is going well but I have to write my speech on tour and I'm really nervous about it.

"I quite like that I'm the first of us to get married as the last one is going to get the worst stag do," he said.

Even though Tom is soon to be off the market for good, it sounds like the other lads aren't planning on taking the plunge just yet.

"Tom's like a guinea pig - we'll see how he gets on before we decide anything," Danny added.

Charming.

Delorean
Tenzij je deze week alle McFly gerelateerde content uit de weg gaat, heb je misschien opgemerkt dat McFly foto's gepost heeft met de Back To The Future Delorean. Tom postte een video afgelopen nacht waar Danny en hijzelf in de beroemde auto rijden.



Rijden in een Delorean was een van Tom's ultieme jeugddromen die in vervulling ging. We zijn verbaasd dat hij niet huilend uit de auto kwam, super trots dat hij in deze auto reed. Maar als je naar zijn blik kijkt is dat eigenlijk al genoeg. Nog steeds een klein jongetje in hart en nieren of niet Tom? Wij zijn jaloers!

We zijn erg enthousiast over het nieuwe album en we zijn ontzettend jaloers op David Spearing. Schijnbaar heeft hij een andere nieuwe McFly demo mogen horen en hij werd er compleet door weggeblazen. "It was incredible. Can't wait to film the making of this album." zei hij. KOM MAAR OP MET DAT ALBUM!
