Blow a kiss, take it back...
Tom Fletcher going in One Direction Source: Belfast Telegraph McFly's Tom Fletcher has started to write songs for One Direction's second album, according to reports. Singer Tom penned I Want, a track on One Direction's debut album, and is now coming up with more ideas while on tour with his own band. Tom told the Daily Star: "I can't wait to write more tunes for One Direction as I'm really proud of their success in America. "I haven't been given a brief as to what kind of song they want from me, we're just waiting to see what I come up with." McFly guitarist Danny Jones said the band were not bitter about One Direction's No 1 hit in the US Billboard Hot 100. "I'm not at all jealous because they're so good at what they do and they're so likeable. They have earned it, and What Makes You Beautiful is one of the best pop songs of the last 10 years," he told the newspaper. McFly to write for new One Direction album Source: Digital Spy McFly have revealed that they will be writing tracks for One Direction's next studio album. Singer Tom Fletcher said that he will be penning more songs for the boyband after contributing 'I Want' to their debut album Up All Night, which reached number one in the US last week. "I can't wait to write more tunes for One Direction as I'm really proud of their success in America," Fletcher told the Daily Star. "I haven't been given a brief as to what kind of song they want from me; we're just waiting to see what I come up with." The singer-songwriter insisted that One Direction can benefit from McFly's nine years' experience in the music industry, as they have been through similar experiences themselves. He added: "Some songwriters have never been in a band, but the One Direction guys can relate to me, as I've been through the same kind of experiences as they have. "When I've been in the studio with them, the manic atmosphere was just the same as when we made our debut." McFly drummer Harry Judd recently told Digital Spy that the band took their success for granted and "realised how hard it was to get people interested again" after releasing their last album Above The Noise.Gerelateerde artikelen - Contact Music: Tom Fletcher to write more songs for One Direction - Daily Star: Tom Fletcher writes for One Direction - UKPA: Tom Fletcher going in One Direction Nieuwe foto's Klik om de gallery te openen! |
